We usually arrange visits at 10:00am or 2:00pm, as these times fit best with the smooth running of the setting, and will give you a chance to see the nursery in action.
We are open 51 weeks of the year. We close for statutory Bank Holidays and between Christmas & New Year.
Our opening hours at Little Bam Bam’s Curiosity Village are Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Yes! The catering company we use has years of experience of cooking homemade meals and snacks catering for a variety of dietary requirements.
At Little Bam Bam’s Curiosity Village, we aim for all children to feel happy, confident, and ready to learn while building lasting friendships. To support this, we offer three settling-in sessions before children start. However, if either parents or staff feel additional sessions are needed, these can be arranged for a smoother transition.
Before the first session, parents will receive an ‘All About Me’ form to share important details about their child’s routine, preferences, and any allergies. The first settling-in session lasts 30 minutes, with parents asked to stay nearby. The second session is 1 hour, where children spend time with their key worker while parents are encouraged to leave. The third session lasts 2 hours and can be adjusted based on each child’s needs to ensure a comfortable transition.
Yes, we do! We accept government-funded childcare hours for eligible 2, 3 and 4-year-olds. To find out what funding you may be entitled to, please visit the Childcare Choices website. Our staff are always on hand to answer any questions and concerns you may have as we know your child starting nursery is an emotional time. All parents will have the opportunity to talk to staff in person at the start and end of each day.
We also have an app called Famly that is accessible for parents to use where our staff regularly update your child’s day with photos.
We conduct parents evenings throughout the year for a more involved chat with our practitioners to understand where your child is at with their development.
We enroll children from 4 months old to 5 years.
Our nursery fees are designed to be all-inclusive, covering healthy, balanced meals throughout the day as well as a range of exciting on-site extracurricular activities to enrich your child’s learning and play.
All we ask parents to provide are nappies, wipes, and formula (if needed).
For families accessing funded hours, we do ask for a small contribution towards meals. However, if you’d prefer, you’re very welcome to provide a packed lunch for your child instead — we aim to keep things as flexible as possible for our families.
