Ever wondered where we started?
Little Bam Bam’s was founded in 2017, Little Bam Bam’s began as a cherished childminding setting rooted in the belief that every child deserves a nurturing environment to explore and grow. In 2021, our vision expanded with the creation of the Curiosity Village Nursery, a dedicated space designed to foster curiosity, creativity, and learning in every child.
Located in the heart of our community, we’ve created a welcoming and inclusive setting where families and children feel valued and supported.
Mission
Little Bam Bams are passionate about providing a quality setting to help promote children’s health, well-being, learning and development. Children will have the opportunity to learn through everyday experiences to promote unique independence and natural development in our safe and homely environments. We ensure that safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all children remains our highest priority.

By focusing on individual needs and interests, we enable children to explore, create, and learn at their own pace. Our goal is to work hand-in-hand with families to ensure a seamless transition and a positive early learning experience for every child.

At Little Bam Bam’s Curiosity Village, we embrace a unique blend of the Reggio, Steiner, Te Whariki, and Montessori philosophies. This modern-day approach to early childhood education, known as the Curiosity Approach, encourages open-ended play, authentic resources, and a child-led focus on learning.
Our environment, the ‘third teacher’, is carefully designed to be calm, engaging, and filled with natural and authentic materials that invite exploration and discovery.
